I have to many items from logitech…
Hey man, really wanted to get your opinion on something, i’ve owned these headphones previously and I absolutely loved them, best headphones i’ve ever had so far, now they broke and the swindle above the headphone, and I am gonna get a new pair of headphones, but i’m tossing up between the Megadalon, g35 or Cacharias, I play mainly world of warcraft and dabble in other games, and I listen to metal/rock and a little bit of dubstep/hardstyle so I like some at least decent bass. What do you think?
Logitech G35 or the Tritton AX 120 or the AX 180?
@llEpidemicll I’ve tried them both, and the G35 is abit more for FPS gaming and stuff like that, the 7.1 surround sound that comes with G35 is abit more “Crispy”, you know exactly where the enemies are at. The surround sound in the Megadalon is abit more “Blury” it’s not that really logic as the sound from G35. Although it is a very nice Multimedia headset. the 2.1 sound in the Megaladon is ALOT better than G35′s 2.1 sound.
I just had Carcharias but I just ordered G35 bevakar the Carcharias stopped working and I couldn’t adjust the headphones anymore.
So from my experience I’d recommend G35 or 7H by Steelseries.

As far as I know there are no drivers for linux or mac for it, but that might have changed.
How accurate is the 3D sound?
It is a Usb Headset have not a extra sound card
i give the Bass 8/10 Volume 7/10 quality 10/10
Multimedia ! it is better to use a player with overdrive function

7.1 Modus ! is okay not in all games best..but in BF3 Beta or Dcs A – 10 c Warthog is it very nice (= i mean the game must this suported needs a good Soundengine (Souround).
Mhh this Headset have a funny function suported by Sceaming Bee Voice Morphing over hotkeys.

I have these and they are amazing.Perfect review but something that he did not mention was that you can adjust the tone bass of this headset. which is perfect for listening to music. (if you use these to) Great job again with the review to an amazing project.

It´s 7.1 Sourround dobly digital…It´s emulated by software, so any sound card do the job. This headset has several speakers inside to make the virtual 7.1 work (drivers do this). With this headset you can hear back and front sound and tell the difference…Anyways 3D sound is an old feature that make sound have some delay when the object is far away or near you…But that tecnology is not so important as the sourround

Lo que nunca eh visto aún respecto al sonido en juegos, es el delay de llegada de un sonido, es decir si un sniper te pega un headshot a 1kilometro el sonido deberia llegar más tarde que la bala, lo otro es que el sonido debe producir eco dependiendo del ambiente y la ubicación del sonido, esas cosas aún no se aplican a los video juegos…Espero verlo algun día aplicado a los juegos ^^

@iFuhrer it was rhetorical. I meant that 3d is dementions, as in spacial and visual dementions. Sound isnt a demention.
@minored360 It’s not “real” 7.1, it’s a USB headset so it won’t use your soundcard in any way.
I’ll probably be buying this, but just to be clear – you DON’T need a 7.1 sound card to take full advantage of this, right?
@minored360 The Headset has a built in sound card. You can just rip out your old one.

someone know bf3 is with seround sound???
to anyone that doesnt know… this headset only has 2 actual speakers. the 7.1 is a software thing that simulates a surround sound experience.
Okay, i got this back in 2010 august, they broke yesterday so now im getting a new headset, just cant choice wich one, the razer 7.1 magalodon or this one (agian).
any suggestion?
