Logitech Headset Boom Mic?

I have a Logitech headset. The headphones work well and I can hear just fine. When I go to The audio manager in the control Panel and go to recording, it says my mic is working. But when I try to use my mic, it wont work and it says it didn’t hear anything, and it’s NOT muted and the volume is turned all the way up! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Help please.

In the program you are using to communicate…go to the (Set-up or Tools) folder and select "Microphone (Logitech Mic (Communicate STX) in the pulldown menu for your Mic.

    Cheers
