By request I spend some time looking at the top of the line Razer Megalodon headset talking about all the good and bad points if you are conisdering a tastey purchase.

Pros: Durable Afforable Great Sound Comfortable Charge and play at the same time Works on PC Cons: Cannot record live in game or mic audio. NOT true 7.1, its 5.1 with the vitural 7.1 Chat and game volume control takes a bit to get use to Looks are debatable Has to be plugged in like the controller Does not cross over to Xbox The light on the tip of the mic is the “indicator” for power, but its hard to see while you have the headset on.
