This is my Review/Overview of my Wireless Astro A40s BXR edition. I got the BXR edition as I like blue and they didn’t have the black ones at the time. This headset is amazing and has improved my gameplay a ton since I started using them about a week ago and wanted to a good amount of time to use them before I did the overview/review of the Wireless Astro A40s BXR edition So after using them for a bit the only down part of the whole package is that it doesn’t include the PS3/PC Cable when you purchase them. But other than that one short coming the Wireless Astro A40s have amazing mic sound I have been using the mic for all of my commentaries since getting them. The headset is extremely comfortable I have used them for up to 3-4 hours straight and they weren’t uncomfortable at all. The padding hugs your head and somewhat silences outside noises other than the game. Pros: Durable Afforable Great Sound Comfortable Charge and play at the same time Works on PC Cons: Cannot record live in game or mic audio. NOT true 7.1, its 5.1 with the vitural 7.1 Chat and game volume control takes a bit to get use to Looks are debatable Has to be plugged in like the controller Does not cross over to Xbox The light on the tip of the mic is the “indicator” for power, but its hard to see while you have the headset on.
