this is a review of the Logitech F540 wireless headset, from the perspective of the consumer aka me. I really like this set up not only for its comfort and ease of use but also for the may input options.

I have a headset, which is a headphone and microphone in one (Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset). I am trying to play Team Fortress 2 with it. It is plugged into the right plug-ins. I can hear through it, but I cannot voice chat with the built-in microphone. We use this to talk through it instead of typing messages to people

The problem: Why can’t I chat with it, even though the switch is on for the microphone, volume is up. Please help me.
I can hear the game going. I can not chat with other people using the microphone. THEY ARE IN THE CORRECT PLUG-INS. I have used voice recorder. It worked while I recorded it. So I go to the TF2 options and go to voice. I test it and it works.

So when I play for real, i cant chat!

I have a PS3 and Im looking for a really good gaming headset that comes with a reasonable price. I would go with anything 0 or less. What is preferable for a game like Black Ops that doesn’t have much much sound amplification. I would like surround sound and really good mic and headset quality that is similar to Dolby digital sound. I’m a serious gamer so it’s really important

I play a game where I need sound and use Ventrilo a lot. I usually get the Logitech premium stereo headset, I am kind of sick of either the speakers dying on one side, or the mic itself dying and getting fanny! I am not looking to get something over I just want something that is better than this. Granted, I do only pay about bucks +tax for these. I really want a clear microphone and a decent life most of all. Sound quality is good, but it might be too much to ask.

This is a series of gameplay vids I’m doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2. Though this isn’t the best game in the Serious Sam series, this is still a very fun arcadey first person shooter. As in other games in the series, the developers love to throw hordes and hordes of baddies your way. Think Duke Nukem, and Doom to the extreme. It’s got the oldschool shooter style. Not to big on story, and huge on action. That’s what makes the Serious Sam games so fun, and this one is no exception. Along withthe Single Player, the PS2 version also has an online component. However, no one is ever on it, because it doesn’t support a USB headset for communication, but it does however support a USB keyboard. It’s online play would be of the oldschool Quake variety. Fast and furious arcade action. It seems like it’d be really fun to play. Serious Sam: Next Encounter is also available on the Gamecube, but without online play. This is a series of gameplay vids I’m doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2. XIII is based off of a French comic book, and it’s story parallels the Bourne Identity. XIII is a cell shaded FPS game that beyond all the graphical flash, is a very fun shooter. It doesn’t do anything particularly new, but it’s a refined and fun experience. It’s also got a good storyline as well. It also has an online mode which very few people play on the PS2 online. I guess the biggest problem was the fact that the game doesn’t support a USB headset, or a USB keyboard. XII is also available on the Xbox, PC, Gamecube, and Mac Here’s the game’s storyline from the official game site: A man wakes up on a beach. He has no recollection of who he is. He sets off in search of his past. His only clues are the number 13 tattooed on his collarbone and the key to a safety-deposit box in one of New York’s most prestigious banks. The passport he finds in the safe at the bank reveals his identity. His name is Steve Rowland and he’s a captain in the United States army. Moments after making this discovery, he’s arrested by colonel Amos, director of the FBI’s anti-terrorist department and accused of the murder of William Sheridan, the 43rd president of the United States. In evidence, he’s shown the enlargement of a snapshot in which he appears holding a sniper’s rifle. The weapon is aimed at the presidential cortège. I have a Logitech H530 USB Headset for the computer that connects through usb. Is there ant way to connect to the usb port on my xbox 360 so I can hear the game through the headset and not the tv? If so how?
