I have a Logitech headset. The headphones work well and I can hear just fine. When I go to The audio manager in the control Panel and go to recording, it says my mic is working. But when I try to use my mic, it wont work and it says it didn’t hear anything, and it’s NOT muted and the volume is turned all the way up! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Help please.

This is my ultimate review of the high performances Astro A40 headset. This is the MLG wired special edition in white colour. The MixAmp Pro, allows you to manage all the volumes and get the 5.1 Dolby Digital sound right to your headset. Using it you also have a very useful feature of “voice monitoring” that lets you to listen your voice and voice of others in chat mixed with game sounds in your ears and if you adjust the volumes you don’t get confused and you can actually understand what you’re saying without screaming and is a lot useful if you do live commentaries as I do, so it’s really easier to listen to yourself through the headset without screaming at all. The boom mic. is also pretty good and fully adjustable and it is supposed to deliver better audio quality to yourself through the headset and to the person you are talking to. Overall I have to say that this is the best headset I’ve ever tried in terms of audio quality, with clear bass and crisp highs sounds, comfort and design.
