I have a Logitech headset. The headphones work well and I can hear just fine. When I go to The audio manager in the control Panel and go to recording, it says my mic is working. But when I try to use my mic, it wont work and it says it didn’t hear anything, and it’s NOT muted and the volume is turned all the way up! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Help please.

So I forked over some money for the Tritton AX 720 Gaming Headphones. I had to admit that going into this purchase I was a bit skeptical. I mean who wants a set of headphones that you have to hook up a series of wires to as well as an ac adapter. Also some of the reviews I’ve read have stated there is hissing noise or poor sound, muffled voice from the usb mic, headphones too tight, not enough length on cord, etc. I mean if there is one thing to complain about them, it’s probably the price (over 0). I’m using these for the PS3 and the sound quality is just outstanding! If there is a hissig sound-chances are you are catching interference from something close by. The voice quality from the usb mic is extremely clear. They are not too tight-seriously these peoples’ heads must be huge! They are very comfortable to wear-even for over 2 hours of gameplay. And there is only one wire hooked into an amp receiver which is about 6ft long! Now there are a series of 3 wires(optical, usb for mic, and ac) connected to the amp but it really isn’t a big deal. Get these headphones! They are a really good investment even if you have a expensive surround sound system-It feels like you are in the game and you can stay up late playing without waking the wife and kids!
