My girlfriend & I are chatting on Yahoo Messenger. We both have Version 8. During a regular IM conversation, can we talk to each other while typing, sharing photos, and playing games? If so, is there anything I could have missed?

I have my USB headset setup through Logitech, Messenger, and Windows. I can speak , and hear music. She can’t hear me. When she gets on MSN Messenger, she can chat & hear anyone fine.

Also, for the moment, I have a webcam, and she doesn’t. In Y Messenger, when she accepts the webcam invitation, should she be able to hear me w/o a webcam of her own?

Or, do we have to start a conference? Is that the same as PC to PC?

Sorry for all the questions, but I’m very new to this.
